"Circus Skills Extravaganza" Friday 17 May from 4pm- 7pm
On Friday
17 May, the Art2264 program and Morisset PCYC together bring to
Morisset, “Art2264@morissetPCYC Circus Skills
Extravaganza”– three intensive Circus Skills workshops to create the
biggest, grandest Circus Skills event yet!
Who doesn't
want to learn magic? Sydney's party host has been doing magic around town for
the last 15 years and giving workshops to many different groups of
people. Manik Jones will show you some old favourite's like the cup and
ball. Explode some dice or cut some rope- even learn a card trick or
two. Become magician's with very little practice. Learn to juggle or
balance plates or just clown around.
Following Manik’s Magic Workshop from 4 - 5pm, KWK Gymnastics Sportz Academy will get
physical with some of their gymnasts trained in circus skills to facilitate a workshop in
balances, rolls, dives and more from 5 - 6pm.
The intensive Circus Skill action
continues with ‘The Ike Anduit Family Circus Workshop’ - the final for the day, from 6 – 7pm. This workshop begins at 6pm and
concludes the evening at 7pm. This fun-filled workshop will offer juggling with
balls, clubs and bounce juggling, diablo, plate spinning and unicycles. They will also offer hula hoop, hoop dance,
isolation hooping, stilts and clown bikes.
Demonstrations and instruction will be provided by both children and
adults. “Whether
you are 3 or 103 we want you to begin the rest of your life with new skills and
a blossoming passion for added fun that will last for years to come” said
Brad Westfall.
