A couple of years ago myself and a few friends got together and decided to start a free youth art event in Morisset. We’re pleased to announce that our program, art2264, recently celebrated its first year of operation at Morisset PCYC.
We run on the third Friday of every month and offer a range of arts based activities such as hip hop, guitar, drum circles, circus skills, drama, performances, painting, singing and much more. You can check out the art2264 program online: http://art2264morisset.blogspot.com
Each year we are looking for more artists, community groups and organisations to support our program. The program is funded until October 2014 and each month we have a budget to employ creative people and groups to facilitate workshops/ performances for young people attending the program.

You can send your details to me of what you do, how much you cost (for approximately a 1 hour session) and how you can add to our existing program. There is scope to expand what creative things can be achieved, so don’t hold back. We are open to wild and wacky ideas too!
Youth Week 2013
Youth Week are seeking entries from young people in the competition to design the poster and website for Youth Week 2013 in NSW.
We are looking for aspiring young designers to help create the look for the Youth Week 2013 in NSW website, posters and other promotional materials.
The Youth Week Design Competition provides young people with the opportunity to showcase their talent as a designer and to win $1,000. The winning poster design will be used to promote Youth Week throughout NSW in April 2013.
Entries should be innovative, creative, and help spread the word about Youth Week.
