Roll up! Roll up!

It’s a long hot summer, and what better way to entertain your kids than a free circus workshop? On Friday 20th January art2264 will present another jam packed afternoon of high paced fun at Morisset PCYC.

Direct from the upper reaches of the Blue Mountains, The Arcade Circus will present an afternoon of circus skills. Join us for juggling, hoops, diablo, poi, spinning plates, devil sticks and the delights of a portable bubble machine. Suitable for all ages, The Arcade Circus will kick off from 4pm.

‘If the summer holidays are looking just a little bit too long, hot and boring, why not join us for an afternoon of hectic circus fun?’ enthused art2264 organiser Helen Hopcroft. ‘This Arcade Circus event is something that you won’t see again this summer’.

In another coup for Morisset, acclaimed actor Andrew McDonell will return for two drama workshops (numbers limited some come early or email us to reserve your place):

4pm: The Arcade Circus
5pm: Introduction to acting through theatre games (primary students)
6pm: Introduction to acting through mask (secondary students)

We’ve also got art all afternoon with artist Margrete Erling and delicious snacks from local company Busy Baking, run by Lynette Ball, will be served.

art2264 is a free monthly youth arts workshop that runs from 4-8pm every third Friday of the month. For more information contact Helen Hopcroft on 0408 637 404.
