Join us on Friday 17th August for another funky night at Morisset PCYC. We kick off at 4pm with a very loud drum circle, courtesy of the Central Coast outfit 'The Rhythm Hut'. At 5pm things get louder still, with the talented dancers from the Deborah Lee Dance Academy; they'll be teaching hip hop dance moves to anyone and everyone. Then at 6pm we've got two things happening: the first is live performance by Kahibah Brass, a funky/family friendly band- with one of the best playlists around, we challenge you to remain seated!

The second thing happening at six o'clock is a Creative Writing workshop, for 14-16 year olds, with Hollie Pich. Hollie's from the Hunter Writers Centre, she's helping promote the National Young Writers Festival (it's happening in Newcastle this September). Within the Festival there will be an opportunity for younger writers to shine: Hollie will tell you all about the Younger Young Writers workshop, for writers under the age of 18.

Plus there's a BBQ, tasty snacks from Busy Baking, and the PCYC mobile (a van stuffed with all that's good in gaming) will be in attendance.

Be there!

  1. Why is this in the news section? Front page no less? The State is broke, it will be passed on to the Counties, because the counties will obey,
